As we enter Q3 of 2018, more leaks have begun to surface on the 2018 iPhone lineup. The latest leak comes from the third-party benchmarking app Geekbench.

According to Geekbench’s result browser, one unknown iPhone model with the internal device code “iPhone 11,2” and a D321AP motherboard was tested last week. The results suggest the CPU of the iPhone model to have similar capabilities as the A11 Bionic chip of the 2017 iPhones although the base frequency of 2.49GHz is slightly higher than that of the iPhone X (2.39GHz).

In addition, the iPhone model is stated to have 3748MB (4GB) RAM with level 1 instruction and data caches jumping from 32KB to 128KB. The different benchmark scores also provide a hint of what to expect from the 2018 iPhone when compared to the iPhone X; there is 10% and 5% better performance in single-core score and multi-core score respectively.

Apple is expected to unveil three new iPhone models later this year, two of which will come with OLED displays and the remaining model having a LCD panel.
