Apple has rolled out a logic board replacement program for the iPhone 8.

Apple has rolled out a logic board replacement program for the iPhone 8. 

The company states that a very small percentage of iPhone 8 devices have logic boards with a manufacturing defect that may cause sudden restarts, frozen sceens or will not power on. The affected units were sold between September 2017 and March 2018 in the following countries: 

  • Australia 
  • China 
  • Hong Kong 
  • India
  • Japan 
  • Macau
  • New Zealand 
  • The U.S 

Eligible devices for the replacement program will be repaired for free. The program covers affected iPhone 8 devices for three years after the first retail sale of the unit. You can use the source link below to check if your iPhone 8 qualifies for the replacement program.
