Apple has launched the iPhone 7 repair program for "no service" issues.

According to the company, a small percentage of iPhone 7 devices may show "No Service" in the status bar even if cellular coverage is available. This is due to a faulty component on the main logic board.

It has determined that affected units were manufactured between September 2016 and February 2018 and sold in China (A1660, A1780), Hong Kong (A1660), Japan (A1779), Macao (A1660) and the U.S (A1660).

The repair program only applies for the iPhone 7 and offers a free repair for affected users. Customers who may have paid for a repair related to this issue will be contacted by Apple for reimbursement.
