We are almost at the tail end of January and that means the Apple machine is beginning to whir back to life.
The three most important devices that Apple is expected to launch in the first quarter of the year are the next-generation iPhone SE and updated versions of the iPad and iPad Air.
According to the latest leaks, the next iPhone SE will have a Dynamic Island and not a notch. This comes from famous leaker Evan Blass, who has had a pretty decent record with leaks.
He also mentions source codes that refer to the next iPhone SE as “iPhone SE (4th Gen)”.
Speaking of codes, the codes also reveal that there will indeed be a new 11th-generation iPad that will be accompanied by new 13 and 11-inch iPad Airs that are powered by the M3 chip.

This comes as a bit of a surprise because it was recently rumoured that the next iPad Air will come with M4 chips. Furthermore, the M3 chip is said to be expensive to produce because of its low yields. So it makes sense for Apple to transition its entire lineup of Macs and iPads to its newest M4 series of chips.
The new iPhone SE is said to have a design that is based on the iPhone 14, and having the Dynamic Island instead of a notch would be welcomed since it’ll make it look more visually similar to the latest iPhones. The current-generation iPhone SE has a design based on the iPhone 8 and is often criticised for looking like a relic.
As for the new iPad and iPad Air, they are expected to be spec bump updates and should not have any design changes.
As mentioned, Apple is expected to unveil these devices sometime in March or April.
