Apple iPhone 6S and 6S Plus local pricing revealed! Pre-order begins from 12 September
Yup, local pricing of the just announced Apple iPhone 6S and 6S Plus have been updated on the online Apple Store in Singapore. Find out how much you need to fork out for them and other details.
Apple's special event just ended revealing a new iPad Pro, all new Apple Pencil, a renewed Apple TV, WatchOS 2 demos, new Apple Watch colors/straps and of course, better and more powerful iPhones! While we've already predicted and reported most of what just unfolded, it's great to finally hear the official annoucement and see that most of them coming to market fairly soon.

Availability
Pre-orders for the new Apple iPhone 6S and 6S Plus begin 3.01pm on 12th September. You can pre-order them at the online Apple Store at this link.
Actual retail availability will begin on 25th September and we're sure there will be more related deals, collection info, registration of interest and more from the telcos next week.
Pricing
Apple's got a new color option this time round with Rose Gold adding on to the existing Silver, Space Grey and Gold color options. Size-wise, you've got the same 4.7-inch (iPhone 6S) and 5.5-inch models (iPhone 6S Plus) to choose from and with three capacity points - 16GB, 64GB and 128GB - Apple's got 24 SKUs of their new smartphone on offer. For now, it seems like there's no delay for whichever variant selected, but you'll never know if logistical matters could arise in the last minute, so stay tuned for updates from us.
Meanwhile, the pricing is a bit of a thorny issue as it seems to be anywhere between S$60 to S$100 more than last year's iPhone 6 series depending on the storage option chosen. Expensive as it might be, our advise would be to go for the largest capacity model you can comfortably stomach as it's easier to manage your apps, as well as contending with higher resolution images and videos you can shoot off the phone's new 12MP rear iSight camera. Not to mention, you've got a new 5MP FaceTime camera this time that's much more capable than the previous 2.2MP camera sensors.
