Tipster @SonnyDickson has posted a photo of what is allegedly iPhone 16 dummy units that provide a first look at new colour options and camera layout.

The photo clearly shows this year's colour options, which are white, black, blue, green and pink. As a recap, the current iPhone 15 and iPhone 15 Plus come in yellow, black, blue, green and pink.

It seems that Apple has swapped yellow for white for the upcoming iPhone 16 models and the shades are noticeably richer than the current models.

It remains unclear if these are the final colour options as Fixed Focus Digital claimed in April that there would be two new hues of white and purple in addition to black, blue, green, yellow and pink.

The dummy units also reveal the new camera module which is arranged in a vertical layout. In comparison, the iPhone 15 and iPhone 15 Plus have the cameras laid out diagonally. Also, the camera bump appears to be slimmer.

If you look closer, there is a button below the power button on the side of the dummy units which is likely the Capture button. @SonnyDickson previously posted photos of milled aluminium iPhone 16 dummy units that showed the Capture button.

It's unclear what the Capture button could be used for, but it may have something to do with photography and videography. Alternatively, it could function as a customisable shortcut button, not unlike the Action button on the iPhone 15 Pro

Apple is reportedly using the A18 chips across the iPhone 16 lineup. The iPhone 16 lineup is expected to launch in September.
