Apple iPhone 14's satellite feature might expand to more countries this year
Apple is reportedly expanding the iPhone 14's satellite connectivity feature to more countries later this year.

Apple's Emergency SOS via Satellite feature on the iPhone 14 lineup could be available in more countries by the end of the year.
According to MacPrime, Apple reportedly shared with the Swiss website that the satellite connectivity feature will be available in "other countries this year" with more planned in 2023.
The Emergency SOS via Satellite feature enables the iPhone 14 user to contact emergency services via satellite connectivity in off-grid in areas where cellular towers and base stations cannot reach. The antennas on the iPhone 14 can connect to satellite frequencies, and tell you which part of the sky to point your phone to receive a signal for emergency help.
Emergency SOS via Satellite is a paid feature, but Apple is offering it free for two years on every iPhone 14.
