Apple to introduce a 5-inch iPhone with vertical dual-lens layout in 2017?

MacOtakara claims that Apple will introduce a third form factor, a 5-inch iPhone in 2017 which comes with a vertical dual-lens layout.

Rumors of a 5-inch iPhone resurfaced recently after Japanese site MacOtakara claimed in its report that one is indeed coming in 2017.

Based on information from sources within Taiwan's supply chain, MacOtakara states that the 5-inch iPhone model will sport the same specs as the successors of the iPhone 7 and 7 Plus. The 5-inch model is also said to have a vertical dual-lens camera layout, which is different from the horizontal configuration introduced on the iPhone 7 Plus. However, MacOtakara cautions that Apple's plans may change as specifications will only be finalized in Q1 2017.

There have been multiple reports of Apple introducing three iPhone models next year. KGI Securities analyst Ming-Chi Kuo shared last month that there would be a 4.7-inch model and two 5.5-inch variants. The Korea Herald and the Wall Street Journal also stated that only one of the three new models will use an OLED display
