Android 4.0 HTC Primo with Beats Audio Leaked [Update]

HTC Primo may be the next Beats Audio handset to be revealed by the Taiwanese company at the upcoming Mobile World Congress (MWC) 2012. It is reported to have a 3.7-inch Super AMOLED display, 1.0GHz dual-core processor and 512MB RAM.

*Update: According to Pocket-Linit, its sources claimed that the HTC Primo will be launched as the OneV alongside the OneX and OneS at MWC 2012.

As Mobile World Congress (MWC) 2012 is about a month away, the rumor mill is once again picking up momentum with the latest speculation on an upcoming HTC handset. Codenamed Primo, the device is said to have the following specs: 

  • 3.7-inch Super AMOLED display reinforced with Gorilla Glass 
  • 1GHz dual-core Qualcomm processor 
  • 512MB RAM
  • Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich 
  • Beats Audio 
  • 5-megapixel camera with 720p video recording 

Based on its specs, the HTC Primo is likely to be positioned as a mid-range phone with its reported price tag of US$250-$300. Besides the Primo, there are also four other HTC devices reported to make an appearance at MWC 2012, which are the HTC Zeta, HTC Edge, HTC Ville and HTC Quattro. Are these devices the "worldwide flagship products" that HTC Chief Financial Officer Winston Yung spoke about in November? Well, we will know in a month's time.
