Samsung is set to announce the Galaxy S5 at Mobile World Congress (MWC) 2014 on 24 February, but an alleged photo of its retail box reveals almost anything you need to know about the device.

According to the photo, the Galaxy S5 will be equipped with a 5.25-inch QHD (2,560 x 1,600) Super AMOLED display, 3GB RAM and a whopping 20-megapixel rear camera. It will run on a quad-core 2.5GHz processor, which is most likely to be the Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 or 805 processor, and is powered by a 3,000mAh battery.

Lee Young Hee, the executive vice president of Samsung’s mobile business told Bloomberg last month that the company "will go back to the basics" for the Galaxy S5 with a focus on the display and feel of the cover.

It is reported that the Galaxy S5 will come in a metal and plastic model this year. The Galaxy S5 is also rumored to have a Zoom and Mini variant, which will be launched in May and June respectively.
