The 6-inch HTC U11+ has slimmer bezels and a massive battery
The U11+ is HTC's latest upsized flagship smartphone with some much-needed upgrades.
Less than six months after launching the U11 flagship smartphone, HTC unveiled an upsized variant of it - the U11+.
Like the U11, the U11+ sports the Liquid Surface Construction which comes in three color options (blue, ceramic black, translucent). The translucent design is interesting as it allows you to see some of the phone's internals such as the NFC antenna and camera module. The chassis is also upgraded to feature IP68 water and dust resistance.
The U11+ comes with a bigger 6-inch Super LCD6 display (2,880 x 1,440 pixels) with a new 18:9 aspect ratio. While the side bezels are relatively thin, the top and bottom section still have significant bezels. There are also no hardware navigation buttons on the U11+. In addition, there is the Edge Sense feature which allows you to short and long squeeze the U11+ to launch any app.

Powering the U11+ is the Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 mobile platform, 4GB RAM, Android 8.0 Oreo and a massive 3,930mAh battery. The battery supports Quick Charge 3.0, but not wireless charging. Other specs include 64GB internal storage with microSD support, a 12MP UltraPixel 3 OIS rear camera with f1/.7 aperture, 4K video recording, an 8MP f/2.0 front-facing camera, HTC USonic with Active Noise Cancellation, HTC BoomSound Hi-Fi edition and USB Type C port.
There is currently no information on its local pricing and availability, but the HTC U11+ is priced at €799 (~S$1,267) in Europe.
