50X zoom and laser autofocus expected to be coming to the Galaxy Note20+
The upcoming Samsung Galaxy Note20+ is expected to drop the Time-of-Flight sensor for a laser autofocus system. It is also said to support 50X hybrid zoom.

More camera specs on the upcoming Samsung Galaxy Note20+ have been leaked.
Tipster @IceUniverse shared on Chinese social networking site Weibo that the Galaxy Note20+ will use the Samsung ISOCELL Bright HM1 108MP sensor, which is the same main camera module used by the Galaxy S20 Ultra. It will also be likely to use the same 12 MP ultra-wide angle lens.
The Time-of-Flight (ToF) sensor will also be replaced by a laser autofocus system to avoid the autofocus issues which are affecting some Galaxy S20 Ultra units. South Korean publication KIPOST reported in April that Samsung is ditching the ToF sensor on the Galaxy Note20 lineup.
@IceUniverse claims there will be a 13MP periscope lens on the Galaxy Note20+ that can deliver up to 50X hybrid zoom. This is a follow-up from his previous tweet speculating that the 100X Space Zoom feature will not be available on the Galaxy Note20+.
While some may see this as a downgrade from the 100X Space Zoom feature on the Galaxy S20 Ultra, limiting the hybrid zoom to 50X may be better as we found in our review that any shots beyond 30X zoom are likely to be a hit-and-miss.
The list of camera specs shared by @IceUniverse differs slightly from that of NewsJoins; the Korean publication reported that there will be a 12MP telephoto lens on the Galaxy Note20+. @OnLeaks and Pigtou shared purported renders of the Galaxy Note20+, which reveal a similar design as the Galaxy Note10+ except for a slightly bigger dipslay and a huge camera bump on the rear.
