The S$199 Poco M7 wants to be the first love of budget phone fans, now available in Singapore
Like its Pro counterpart, the Poco M7 prioritises on affordability and a big silicon-carbon battery.

After the launch of the Pro version back in April 2025, Poco is now ready to bring in the base model of its 2025 M-series’ 2025: the Poco M7.
Note: Poco has three phone ranges. F-series is for its flagship tier, X-series is for its midrange offering, and M-series usually denotes its entry-level alternative.
Like its Pro counterpart, the Poco M7 prioritises on affordability (a mere S$199 for 128GB) and a big battery capacity (7,000mAh). Here, we break down what else the phone offers its users.
Poco M7: all the essentials for one price

This phone uses the same mobile processor seen inside the 2023 Redmi Note 12, a Qualcomm Snapdragon 685. That makes the Poco M7 a true entry-level offering, but with Xiaomi’s HyperOS 2 operating system still intact for a standard Android experience (Poco is a sub-brand of Xiaomi).
It has a young-at-heart design with its superhero- and mecha-inspired accents, but Poco did not skimp on durability since it also added IP64 water and water resistance rating.

Despite its entry-level categorisation, the Poco M7 still offers access to Google Gemini, Circle to Search with Google, and expandable virtual RAM of up to 16GB (from 8GB LPDDR4X RAM), in addition to support for MicroSD cards with up to 2TB storage.
The phone has a 6.9-inch FHD+ display with nine steps of adjustable refresh rates, up to 144Hz maximum. Other display perks include 700-nit peak brightness and its triple TÜV Rheinland certifications for eye comfort (Low Blue Light (Software Solution), Flicker Free, and Circadian Friendly), which is paired with Hi-Res Audio certification, Dolby Atmos support, and a 200% volume boost to satisfy both sight and sound.

Even the 7,000mAh, 5% silicon-carbon battery is no slouch, as Poco ensured the M7 has at least 33W wired fast charging and 18W reverse charging. Even its higher-end battery optimisations are included (Battery Health 4.0, Zero Power Instant on, Boost Charging) to help ensure it stays functional for longer, takes almost no time to start up, and speeds up charging when low on juice, respectively.
Rounding off its value-first proposition is a 50MP dual rear camera system (main and ultrawide), which supports enhancements like Auto Night Mode, Selfie Beauty Mode, and Dynamic Shots (Xiaomi’s version of iPhone LivePhotos). It’s also NFC-capable, so you’re never really short on the bare necessities.
