The OPPO Find X9 series’ had its global launch on 28 October 2025, and Singapore is one of the first markets to get the flagship OPPO phones.
After the impressive OPPO Find X8 series, our expectations for the Find X9 lineup is sky-high. Thankfully, OPPO doesn’t look like they’ll be letting us down.

The lineup consists of two models as per usual: the OPPO Find X9 and the OPPO Find X9 Pro.
Hardware updates
The Find X9 has a smaller 6.59-inch display while the Find X9 Pro gets a larger 6.78-inch screen, both of which boast thin 1.15mm bezels on all sides. Both displays can get up to 3,600-nits of peak brightness with support for Dolby Vision, HDR10+ and refresh rates of up to 120Hz.
Both phones get even larger batteries this year, with the Find X9 sporting a 7,025mAh battery while the Find X9 Pro gets a massive 7,500mAh battery. Despite the big increase, the phones are still quite slim, with the Find X9 weighing in at 203g and measuring just 7.99mm thick, while the Find X9 Pro weighs 224g and measures 8.25mm thick.

There’s a new physical button on the left side of the phone called the Snap Key. While it’s linked to the AI Mind Space feature in ColorOS 16 by default, it can be customised to activate functions like the flashlight, launching the camera, taking screenshots or activating translation.
As usual, there is 80W wired SuperVOOC and 50W wireless AirVOOC charging, with 10W reverse wireless charging for accessories. OPPO claims that the third-gen silicon-carbon batteries inside will be able to retain up to 80% of its original capacity even after five years of typical use.
Equipped with the new 3nm MediaTek Dimensity 9500 processor, both phones also get a new vapour chamber for cooling, with materials like thermal gel, graphite and stainless steel mesh to help improve thermal conductivity.
The phones will be running ColorOS 16 out of the box, which should come with a new design, updated Android rendering framework (Trinity Engine and Luminous Rendering Engine), more AI tools and better connectivity across ecosystems.

Both phones get IP66, IP68, and IP69 dust and water resistance ratings (read what it means here). The Find X9 Pro comes in the Silk White and Titanium Charcoal colourways, while the Find X9 gets a fun Velvet Red colourway in addition to the standard Space Black and Titanium Grey colours.
Camera upgrades

OPPO is also continuing the partnership with Hasselblad, and both phones get the new Hasselblad Master Camera System.
The Find X9 Pro gets larger upgrades, however, with a new 50MP Ultra XDR Main Camera powered by a custom Sony LYT-828 1/1.28-inch sensor, a 7-element lens and a fast f/1.5 lens that lets in 30% more light than the previous camera. This new sensor also allows for real-time triple exposure, with three different exposures captured and merged in real-time for a dynamic range of up to 17 stops.
OPPO Find X9 Pro telephoto camera
There’s also a brand new 200MP Hasselblad Telephoto camera that provides 3x optical zoom, a native 50MP image through direct sensor crop at 6x zoom, and lossless zoom up to 13.2x. Furthermore, the lens has a floating focus design that allows for a minimum focusing distance of just 10cm, so it can double up as a macro lens.

As for the Find X9, it seems like only the main camera has been improved with an upgrade to the Sony LYT-808 1/1.4-inch sensor, which also has a faster f/1.6 lens.

Both phones get the new LUMO Image Engine, which introduces a new imaging pipeline that allows for the ISP, NPU, GPU and CPU to work on an image at the same time. There’s also the ability to shoot video in 4K120FPS in Dolby Vision with the main cameras for both phones, alongside full LOG capabilities which should be exciting for mobile videographers.
