Nothing Phone (3), (3a), and (3a) Pro get new tools within Essential Space feature
Essential Space became more essential.
Nothing has given its AI-powered Essential Space feature a few more neat tricks, and Nothing users with a Nothing Phone (3), Nothing Phone (3a), and Nothing Phone (3a) Pro can get them now (or soon).
To recap, Essential Space is a productivity tool and organiser rolled into one, where the phone’s Essential Key lets you capture notes, thoughts, and screenshots while on-the-go.
The two new features are:
Shareable “flip-to-record” audio clips
Flip-to-record clips are now shareable.
The Flip-To-Record feature of Essential Space lets you record your spoken thoughts, as demonstrated in our phone review. Now, the recording can be shared with other users by simply hitting the share button and the messaging app of choice.
Export Essential Space content to others
Save your collection of thoughts as an image or PDF.
Also on the same vein of sharing your thoughts, all the captures you made to your Essential Space can be shared as one image, or PDF. If you have a voice recording in that collection, it’s transcribed automatically before sharing, too.
Nothing said the updates needed to get these new Essential Space features are automatic, if you turned on auto-update and Wi-Fi connectivity. Otherwise, the Google Play Store listing of Essential Space is one way to trigger a manual update.
