Google Pixel 10, 10 Pro, and 10 Pro XL: pre-orders now available in Singapore

Google has finally brought out their flagship Pixel 10 series, which consists of the Pixel 10 base device, the Pixel 10 Pro, and the Pixel 10 Pro XL.
What’s new to the whole Pixel 10 series?
Google Pixel 10 Pro in Moonstone.
New to the Pixel 10 series is better integration with its in-house AI, Gemini. Gemini Live allows hands-free conversation, while Gemini now works better across apps. For example, Gemini can now pull from Google Maps when it recognises a group chat asking about dinner plans, and suggest to add your dinner booking to your Google Calendar.
The most powerful AI addition to Pixel 10 series is none other than Magic Cue. For example, it can proactively pull up shortcuts to other apps for you when you’re in a middle of another task. The example Google gave was handing you your flight booking when you’re engaged in a phone call with the airline.

According to Google, all these new AI tools and additions are possible because of the upgraded processor, Google Tensor G5. Google said the new processor is 60% more powerful at on-device AI than before, with a 34% faster CPU than its predecessor.
New and fun AI tools include Camera Coach, which guides the user on the basics of photography composition during photo-taking. Camera Coach can also suggest new ways to take the same shot, giving the user more photography ideas while teaching them the basics of skilled photography.

Adhering to the flagship status of Pixel mainline devices, all three Pixel 10 configurations have IP68 rating against dust and water, use Corning Gorilla Glass Victus 2 glass for its front and back, and serve Android 16 right out of the box with seven years of security updates and Pixel Drop features.
The Qi2 wireless compatibility rumours have also come true, and Google is introducing the new wireless charging standard with a range of accessories called Pixelsnap. These are all-new, magnetic accessories that work with Pixel 10 series devices. They come in various styles, such as chargers, stand with docks, a ring stand, and more.
Pro versions get a little bit more
For the Pixel 10 Pro and Pixel 10 Pro XL, they get improved stabilisation during Video Boost recordings.
Google also increased the Pro models’ peak brightness, which now sits at 3,300 nits. even its HDR brightness is 2,200 nits, 10% brighter than the base model.

Notably, the Pixel 10 differs from the Pro models in its main and telephoto cameras, highest Wi-Fi compatibility, RAM size, display type, maximum digital zoom, charging speeds, and other minor details, such as maximum video recording resolution.
Between the Pixel 10 and Pixel 10 Pro XL, the differences are even more minor. The Pixel 10 Pro XL gets faster wired and wireless charging speeds. The Pro XL’s upsized offering also affects the display and battery size, although it’s functionally similar to the Pixel 10 Pro in other ways.
All three Pixel 10 series mainline devices can enjoy the full suite of AI-based photo/video editing features, as well as user-facing, AI-assisted phone shortcuts and tools.
