Google Pixel 10 Pro Fold steps up durability and AI, now available in Singapore
Several tweaks and changes made the Google Pixel 10 Pro Fold its most durable foldable yet, and it also brought on some minor aesthetic changes.

The Google Pixel 10 Pro Fold is Google’s foldable alternative to its mainline Pixel 10 series handsets, packing several key upgrades to strengthen its appeal despite a highly competitive foldable market.
What’s new in the Google Pixel 10 Pro Fold?

This is the first time Google is giving its foldable an IP68 rating against dust and water, drastically improving its durability from the predecessor’s IP48 rating.
Google attributes this improvement to several factors, most of which attributed to the new gearless hinge. In a separate briefing, Google shared that the hinge uses spacecraft-grade materials and is twice as durable as before.
Wired and wireless charging wattage are also higher now, up to 30W (from the previous 21W) for wired charging and also 15W for its Qi2-compatible wireless charging (up from 7.5W).
The main draw of the foldable is the 8-inch Super Actua display, which supports resizable Split Screen functionality and a game controller mode (for specific gaming titles that split the display into top-panel and bottom-controller halves).
Drag And Drop is also added, but it currently works only across Google-made apps.

Also new is Instant View, which uses the unfolded inner screen as a photo preview when you capture them. Dual Screen preview is also available, allowing photo-takers to access a viewfinder, which can be helpful for group photos.
You can also half-fold the Pixel 10 Pro Fold for Rear Camera Selfie, allowing you to go hands-free and take snaps of yourself with the rear cameras. This propped shooting method also works with its Astrophotography and Timelapse camera features.
The cameras are also upgraded and now nearly match the base Pixel 10’s, featuring a 48MP main camera, a 10.5MP ultrawide camera, and a 10.8MP telephoto camera with 5x optical zoom. The ultrawide also supports Macro Focus.
Finally, like the mainline Pixel 10 series devices, you’re also getting all the latest AI perks and the Google Tensor G5, along with seven years of updates (security and Pixel Drop features).
For those chasing after a new and improved look, Google said it reduced bezel size on the 6.4-inch cover screen, even though the phone’s 10.8mm folded thickness is more than before (previously at 10.5mm)

From the spec sheet, it appears that the Google Pixel 10 Pro Fold has the same triple rear camera array as the base Pixel 10, as well as the same wired and wireless fast-charging speeds. However, it did adopt the Pro Controls for the cameras, as well as the Video Boost feature for recordings.
Google Pixel 10 Pro Fold also matches the mainline Pixel 10 series in durability (IP68 rating dust-and-water resistance), despite being a foldable handset. It also shares the same SIM configuration, on top of having up to Wi-Fi 7 compatibility like the Pro models.

Google Pixel 10 Pro Fold starts at S$2,399 (256GB), and pre-orders are available now exclusively at the online Google Store and Singtel.
However, the official retail date is only 9 October 2025, at which point it will also be available at Metapod.
