Sony claims their new Xperia X series of phones was designed with a focus on design and functionality. Do you agree?

The Sony Xperia X series will be available in 3 variants - X, X Performance, and XA. All the phones feature a 5-inch display with the first two having having a 1080p resolution screen and the XA having a 720p screen.
The Xperia X Performance is powered by the new Snapdragon 820, along with 3GB of RAM. Xperia X uses a mid-range Snapdragon 650 and 3GB of RAM. The Xperia XA will use a octa-core MediaTek MT6755 processor and 2GB of RAM.

The angular edges on the Xperia Z5 have been smoothed out. Sony highlighted its curved glass edges, which help create a more natural and seamless feel on the new series.

The Xperia XA has bezels that are even thinner than that on the Xperia X and X Performance, thus making it feel smaller and more compact that its other two brothers.

You can clearly see from this angle that the bezel on the Xperia X is thicker than the XA from the previous photo.

There's barely a camera bump on the rear.
The Xperia X and X Performance feature a 1/2.3-inch 23-megapixel Exmor RS sensor for the rear camera, and a 1/3-inch 13-megapixel Exmor RS on the front. The lower-end Xperia XA utilizes a more modest 13-megapixel rear camera and 8-megapixel front camera.

The autofocus has been designed to track moving objects effectively.
