In anticipation of the upcoming Lazada sale starting on 29th July 2016, we took out our review unit for a quick gander. Here’s our walk-through on the phone’s design.

The HTC 10 took a while come to Singapore, arriving three months after its April 2016 launch.

HTC charmed the world with the aesthetically-pleasing HTC One back in 2013, and the HTC 10 doesn’t look too far off that mark by retaining most of its design language.

The HTC 10's design underwent some fine-tuning; if you compare it with the preceding HTC One M9 – the buttons look a little longer and sleeker, with flushed front edges, as opposed to the staggered appearance.

You can see another huge design tweak on the back – it now features exaggerated chamfered edges, which may be a hit or miss for some folks.

The HTC 10 uses a 5.2-inch, Super LCD 5 display rated at QHD (2,560 x 1,440 pixels resolution). Display junkies would be pleased with the resolution upgrade.

The glass front is none other than the Corning Glass 3, but with a Curve Edge display. This further emphasizes the chamfered design language on the device.

Another significant remodel is the removal of its front facing speakers. While it still has BoomSound audio technology, the speaker now sits next to the USB Type-C port.

One thing that HTC 10 does better than the rest is the integration of the antenna lines into the phone’s design. It also has a tighter polished look – a move away from its old appearance.

Since we’re at the phone’s rear, here’s a snap of the 12-megapixel resolution rear camera. Pixel size is 1.55μm. It also support 4K video recording with Hi-Res audio.

Both the front and rear lenses have optical stabilization, and an aperture of f/1.8.
