Even though Apple’s 9 September event less than a week away, leaks about the upcoming iPhone 17 Pro are still surfacing.

Tipster Instant Digital claims the iPhone 17 Pro model will feature three major upgrades:

  • Brighter display: Unlike the iPhone 16 series - where peak outdoor brightness can only be sustained for a few minutes before thermal throttling kicks in - the iPhone 17 Pro is said to maintain high brightness levels for much longer.
  • Upgraded thermals: A redesigned cooling system reportedly boosts frame rate stability in graphics-intensive games and prevents overheating when recording 4K 60fps videos.
  • Longer battery life: Thanks to greater power efficiency and a larger battery, the iPhone 17 Pro is tipped to deliver the longest battery life ever on an iPhone.

Apple will officially unveil the iPhone 17 series at its live event on 10 September at 1 am SGT, streamed on its websiteYouTube channel and the Apple TV app.
