OPPO Reno14 Pro’s launch bundle comes with a complimentary Dyson hairdryer

It’s probably the best bundle we’ve seen in a phone launch here.

The OPPO Reno14 series is now live, and Singapore’s getting the Reno14 Pro and Reno14.

They differ slightly in specs and design, but all of them (including the Reno14 F 5G, which is not launching at the same time) share their AI photo-editing suite and IP-rated bodies, which are resistant to water and dust.

We’ll go through the two available phones quickly because we want to tell you more about that jaw-dropping, limited-time Dyson hairdryer launch bundle.

Leading the pack is the OPPO Reno14 Pro (rated IP69), which boasts the best processor and camera set among the new Reno14 handsets.

It’s powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 8450 processor, which showcases its capabilities through the phone’s 6.83-inch AMOLED panel (120Hz refresh rate, 2,800 x 1,272 pixels resolution, and 1,200 nits in high-brightness mode). Like most of OPPO’s high-end handsets, it’s certified for HDR10+ content.

Helping it to stand out is the Reno14 Pro’s unique appearance, called Iridescent Mermaid Design. The finish features 12 coats of microscopic-level textures that create its pearlescent appearance. Our understanding from OPPO’s sharing also showed that no mermaids were involved in its manufacturing. It does, however, borrow from the skies with an aerospace-grade aluminium frame.

Returning to form is the Reno series’ love for photography. OPPO Reno14 Pro’s three rear cameras (main, ultrawide, and telephoto camera at 3.5x zoom) and single front camera are all 50MP. The rear shooters all have 4K HLG HDR recording support and Underwater Photography (2m depth of up to 30 minutes).

That doesn’t even yet include its wide breadth of background and user-facing AI photo perks (AI Recompose, AI Perfect Shot, AI Style Transfer, AI Editor 2.0). The trendiest update, however, is that Instagram now supports Reno14 series Livephoto 2.0 uploads.

Beyond the fancy cameras, the OPPO Reno14 Pro has dual nano-SIM and eSIM support, 12GB of RAM (LPDDR5X), 512GB storage (UFS 3.1), and a 6,200mAh battery with 80W SuperVOOC wired charging supported by 50W AirVOOC wireless charging. It runs on ColorOS 15 (based on Android 15).

The middle child, OPPO Reno14 (rated IP68), shares the same “triple-flash” system as its Pro model. Two flash modules support its 50MP main and 8MP ultrawide cameras, while the 50MP telephoto (3.5x zoom) has a single dedicated flash unit. OPPO said these flash units are up to 10x brighter than its predecessor, and work well even when zooming in.

While the Reno14 F 5G (IP66 rating) hasn’t arrived yet, we know it differs from the other two with its dual-flash system for its 50MP main, 8MP ultrawide, and 2MP macro cameras. The flash units on this phone are 2x brighter than its predecessor.

Gaming on Reno14 series devices.

The good news is that Reno14 series phones receive the full suite of AI photo-editing perks, like its Pro model. The differences are largely due to its components, with the Reno14 featuring a slightly lower-powered MediaTek Dimensity 8350, and the Reno14 F 5G utilising an entry-level Qualcomm Snapdragon 6 Gen 1 platform.

That said, all three have 120Hz AMOLED displays with varying sizes and resolutions. It’s still very decent because the 6.57-inch Reno14 F 5G still features a respectable 2,372 x 1,080 pixels resolution.

ColorOS 15 itself also gets new toys to play with. Notably, there’s AI Mind Space for visual note-taking and journaling, Call Summary for written text summaries of your phone calls, and a new AI Call Translator for two-way live translation with your caller.

Most interesting is AI VoiceScribe, which OPPO said can support 20 languages and also works in video apps.

Both models are dual-SIM devices, equipped with a 6,000mAh battery and support for 80W wired fast charging (Reno14) and 50W wired fast charging (Reno14 F 5G). However, note that the Reno14 F 5G doesn’t appear to have eSIM support.

It includes a Dyson Supersonic Origin hairdryer (S$499), a two-year OPPO Care Plus coverage plan (S$149), and a 3-month trial of Google AI Pro, along with 2TB of cloud storage (S$86.99). If you are registered as a MyOPPO member, you will also receive additional rewards.

Note that the Launch Bundle redemption method depends on your mode of purchase (e.g., online, offline, in-store, etc.) and requires proof of purchase via a set of verification details (including but not limited to an issued QR code, serialised card, IMEI number). Terms and conditions still apply.
