Following news that the iPhone 17 Air will feature a unique blue finish, tipster Majin Bu shared a render of the ultra-slim phone in four colourways.

According to Majin Bu’s sources, Apple may offer the iPhone 17 Air in black, silver, light gold and light blue. The tipster describes the light blue finish as “fresh and modern”, resembling a clear sky, and noted its similarity to the Sky Blue finish on the M4 MacBook Air. The tipster also believes Light Blue will be the iPhone 17 Air’s flagship colour.

Majin Bu added that the palette of four colours reflects Apple’s aim of blending tradition with innovation, a philosophy embodied by the iPhone 17 Air. The four colours were selected to give users options; they can choose between the more classic tones of black and silver, or something more striking in light gold and light blue.

To recap, the iPhone 17 Air is tipped to be the thinnest iPhone ever. A hands-on video of a dummy unit reveals how “ridiculously thin” it is - and the trade-offs Apple made to achieve the ultra-slim design. For example, it will feature a single rear camera, and battery life may fall short compared to the other models in the iPhone 17 series.

Apple is likely to unveil the iPhone 17 series in September.
