Production of 10.2-inch iPad to start soon, 16-inch MacBook Pro to begin in Q4?
Apple could be ready to launch a new 10.2-inch iPad model and 16-inch MacBook Pro later this year.
The Economic Daily News claims that mass production of the 10.2-inch iPad model will begin sometime this month followed by the 16-inch MacBook Pro in Q4. It added that Taiwanese manufacturer Radiant Opto-Electronics will be the exclusive backlight module supplier for the new iPad and MacBook Pro model.
Rumors of a 10.2-inch iPad and 16-inch MacBook Pro surfaced earlier this year when Ming-Chi Kuo shared his research note. Kuo expects the 10.2-inch iPad to replace the existing 9.7-inch model while the upcoming MacBook Pro is likely to have a screen size of between 16 to 16.5-inches.
