Omnidesk launches the Ichi (One) Collection of table tops

Another homegrown company has launched a new line of tables. Well, tabletops to be exact. Soon after Secretlab announced their first PC desk earlier today, the Magnus, Omnidesk has revealed their new Ichi (One) collection.

According to Omnidesk, the Ichi (One) collection offers a "duo of ultra-premium Live Wood Desk models that pays homage to mother nature." It is also part of the company's strategy to elevate its offerings into the luxury workspace and home offices markets.

Exclusive to Singapore, the Ichi (One) can be seen as a natural evolution of the company's Wildwood collection, and unlike the current offering, every single desk in the Ichi (One) collection is unique by virtue of its naturally occuring shape and pattern. So, no two Ichi (One) desks are ever identical.

The Ichi (One) collection is split into two different wood patterns: Omnidesk Ame and Omnidesk Kawa. The Ame desk is carve from Rain Tree timbers, while the Kawa features teak wood from Indonesia. The Kawa is also a little more unique in that it comes with a blue resin pattern cut through in the middle of the desk. Omnidesk has also revealed that colours such as red and purple may be available in the near future as options for Kawa tabletops.

The left two tabletops are Kawa, with the other two being Ame tabletops.

Due to the unique shape of each piece, the Omnidesk Ichi (One) collection would not be purchased like any other Omnidesk. Instead, an appointment has to be made through the collection's website, where interested parties would indicate the type and size that they are interested in. An appointment would then be made to come down to a private section of the Omnidesk showroom. A selection of available tabletops would be then rolled out for selection, inspection, and payment by the customer.

Pricing for the Ame starts from S$1,650 (Usual Price: S$1,900), while the more premium Kawa will start from S$2,200 (Usual Price: $2,550). This is inclusive of GST, Onsite Assembly, and an extended 5 years warranty. Each desk will come with a cable management bar and controller.
