Google's price-matching policy is now available in Singapore and 22 countries

Google is expanding its price-matching policy beyond the U.S to 23 markets including Singapore.

In a nutshell, Google will match the advertised online prices from qualifying retailers for customers who bought the same products at higher prices from the Google Store. However, there is a list of terms and conditions to meet such as:

  • The request must be made within 15 calendar days after the day you received the product, or within 30 days for the Nest Thermostat.
  • Online pricing must be in the same currency as the currency used to purchase the qualifying product on Google Store.
  • The advertised price must be for the same model (same colour and memory, if applicable).
  • You must provide a live link to the promo or webpage that verifies the price. PDFs, screenshots, pictures, or individual price quotes are not accepted.

The price-matching policy is also available in these 22 other countries: Australia, Austria, Belgium, Canada, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Ireland, Italy, Japan, Netherlands, New Zealand, Norway, Portugal, Puerto Rico, South Korea, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, Taiwan, and the United Kingdom.

For consumers in Singapore, the two qualifying or authorised retailers are Courts and Challenger. You can view the full terms and conditions here.
