Google Photos increases limit for private albums to 20,000 pictures and videos

If you use Google Photos, you might have heard of a feature called Live Albums. In a nutshell, using machine learning, a live album is able to automatically add photos of people and pets, and always keep it up to date as you take more photos. Like the other albums you create, you can share these private live albums with your friends and family.

When the feature first rolled out in October, Google has put a limit of 10,000 photos or videos that you can add to such private albums. Apparently, many users have feedback that this number is too low. Google seems to agree, because as reported by Android Police, big G has just updated this limit to 20,000 photos or videos. This is also the number of photos you can have for shared albums.
