Apple may ship a higher-power USB-C adapter for its upcoming 16-inch MacBook Pro.
Chongdiantou, a Chinese counterpart website of ChargerLab, claimed to have received a photo of the purported power adapter's label from an anonymous source from WeChat. The source added that the 96W USB-C adapter has a model identifier of A2166 and is similarly sized as the current 87W power adapter.
The 16-inch MacBook Pro is rumored to be announced later this month and tipped to cost over US$3,000. It is also expected to come with a new keyboard design.
