You may not be familiar with the brand Vorwerk before, and we won’t blame you because they’ve had no direct presence in Singapore till now. Vorwerk is the parent company that makes Thermomix machines - you know, the smart kitchen appliance that magically cooks up all kinds of dishes hands-free, and looks like an industrial blender? Yep. Well, Vorwerk has just opened up its first flagship experience store in Singapore at The Cathay and to kick off the occasion, they’re launching a brand-new machine too: the Thermomix TM7.

The TM7 features some of the biggest upgrades to the Thermomix system to date. It has a new matte black insulated mixing bowl that’s safe to touch even while cooking and looks sleeker than the past stainless steel models. It also now comes with a large 10-inch multi-touch LCD display where you can directly interact with, choose recipes, and easily follow along cooking instructions. According to Vorwerk, their Cookidoo companion app now hosts more than 100,000 recipes, so whatever it is you’re thinking of making, the TM7 will likely be able to.

For the adventurous, you can use the Thermomix with your own recipes or perform manual cooks. It has options for many styles of cooking, has all the essential kitchen necessities as a built-in weighing scale and timer function, plus it even cleans up after itself with a few drops of Mama Lemon.

The large touchscreen on the TM7 makes it easy to select recipes and follow along instructions.
