Xiaomi has just announced the launch of its Xiaomi TV Max 100-inch 2025 smart TV. Unlike the model we saw last year, this QLED display seems much better put together.

Running Google TV, this 4K QLED TV has a 144Hz refresh rate, 120Hz MEMC, support for Dolby Vision, HDR10+, HLG, Dolby Atmos, a pair of 15W speakers, and DCI-P3 94% of the Colour Gamut. This is all powered by a Quad-core Cortex A73, a Mali-G52 (2EE) MC1 GPU, 3GB of RAM, and 32GB of storage.

There is also a Game Boost Mode for those of you who are also gamers. In this mode, the refresh rate goes up to 240Hz. It also comes with all the other gamer-TV tier perks like ALLM, VRR and supports AMD’s Freesync Premium.

Connectivity options include one LAN port, Bluetooth 5.2, Wi-Fi 6, three HDMI 2.1 ports, one HDMI 2 port with eARC support, one HDMI 2 port (that Xiaomi says supports 4K 144Hz), and one HDMI 1 port. Audio options include Optical Digital Audio Out and a 3.5mm headphone jack.

If you have a Xiaomi Watch 2 connected to the same network as the TV, you can even use your smartwatch as a remote control

Handily, it can be mounted on a wall or placed on a suitably strong TV console or cabinet (the TV weighs about 60kg). Although, if you opt to use a stand, do note that the feet seem to be angled out, so you’ll need quite a long TV console to place it on. According to Xiaomi's specs, you'll need your console to be at least 1.8m to place the TV, although the width of the TV itself is a little more than 2.2m.

What's the price, and where can I get it?

The Xiaomi TV Max 100-inch 2025 is available now from the Xiaomi Singapore Online Store and Lazada for just S$3,599 before any other discounts or coupons are applied. If you opt for a standard table-top setup, it will only cost you 1 cent, according to Xiaomi's online store at the time of reporting.

For those who shudder at the thought of the TV size and space needed, Xiaomi also has an 85-inch version at $2,499 for consideration.

How's the competition like?

As a comparison, the PRISM+ Q100 Ultra is available at S$4,999 (U.P. S$13,999, or so they claim), Hisense’s Q7N 100-inch QLED Smart TV is S$5,099 (U.P. S$5,599), and TCL’s C655 4K QLED TV may be 98-inches in size, but it is available for the same price as the Xiaomi 100-inch, at S$3,599 (U.P. S$5,299). These are also QLED TVs running on Google TV, which support Dolby Vision, Dolby Atmos, and HDR10+. Apart from the PRISM+, they all boast a 144Hz refresh rate too. Further discounts may also be applicable, so please check their prices online when you plan on upgrading your screen.
