Samsung’s TVs that it’s bringing to CES 2024 come stacked with secured AI to enhance motion and depth as well as Glare Free technology to reduce reflections while maintaining image sharpness.

Samsung’s newest Neo QLED 8K comes with Samsung’s latest TV processor, the NQ8 AI Gen3, which has a neural processing unit (NPU) that is twice as fast as that of its predecessor. Along with this processor come a number of AI-driven upgrades.

With the NQ8 AI Gen3, the 2024 Neo QLED 8K models can upscale 4K content into 8K by using what it calls, Upscaling Pro, sharpening low-resolution content so that it is displayed in ultra-high resolution. Hopefully, this can help deal with the scarcity of 8K content.

AI Motion Enhancer Pro automatically detects the sport type and uses deep learning to apply the proper ball detection model to solve issues like ball distortion.

By detecting the part of a scene that the human eye would naturally focus on and bringing it to the foreground, Real Depth Enhancer Pro, makes images appear more lifelike and three-dimensional by adding details to fast-moving scenes using AI to precisely control mini-LEDs.

Making a return from 2023 is Active Voice Amplifier, now called Active Voice Amplifier Pro. Active Voice Amplifier amplified dialogue clarity if a noise disturbance is higher than the TV sound for over three seconds. 2024’s Active Voice Amplifier Pro is an AI dialogue booster that utilises deep-learning technology to enhance dialogue and voices on screen by separating voices from mixed audio, enhancing voice input so users can easily follow the conversation on screen at any volume.

Q-Symphony for 2024 allows users to connect multiple wireless speakers and a soundbar to a TV or projector for perfect audio synchronisation across shows, movies, and playlists.

Samsung OLED TVs get a new 77-inch S95D model that the company says is 20% brighter than previous models with Pantone Validated blacks and AI-enhanced colour accuracy. It also has a 144Hz refresh rate for both gamers and sports fans.

What is exciting is what Samsung calls ‘OLED Glare Free’ technology which is a special coating that is OLED optimised to maintain image sharpness for the best viewing experience, no matter how bright the room is.
