LG Wants You to Treat Its Gallery OLED TV Like a Painting

The LG Gallery OLED TV is a 55-inch OLED TV. What's unique about it is that it's wall-mountable and it uses a faux art mat and picture frame to hide its speakers.

At IFA 2013, LG has also unveiled a new OLED product called Gallery OLED TV. This 55-inch flat OLED TV (model number: 55EA8800) has a faux art mat to hide its forward-facing, 2.2-channel audio-capable Canvas Speaker. Because of its picture frame, when the TV is mounted on the wall, it creates the impression that you're looking at a painting. The TV has a Gallery mode too, so you can effectively turn it into a giant (and expensive) digital photo frame.

The LG Gallery OLED TV will be launched this month in Germany; other markets will follow soon after.
