A 4K TV from LG this year can cost as low as S$1,199, and as high as S$149,999

Last month, we told you about the new LG ‘Super UHD’ and 4K UHD LED LCD TVs that are coming to Singapore. There’s also the EC970T, which is the company’s first 4K OLED curved TV running WebOS. Now, some of the LCD-based UHD TVs are already selling in stores since end March, so if you’re keen to know how much they cost, you can check out the news piece here (or carry on reading).

The above being said, prices for some of the LCD models have continued to elude us until now, mainly because they’re only arriving in retail this month. So if you’re waiting to buy the 105-inch, ultra-widescreen UC9T that sports a ‘5K’ resolution (5,120 x 2,160 pixels), know now that it’ll set you back a princely sum of S$149,999.

For those who are past LCD TVs, and are looking to jump straight to OLED, the EC970T will be more widely available as early as this weekend (previously, select stores carried it on a pre-order basis). Available in 65 inches, the EC970T 4K OLED curved TV has a price tag of S$10,999.

LG has also provided us updated pricing for the 43UF670T, 40UF670T, 43UF770T, and 40UF770T 4K UHD models. You'll see from the pricing table below that the most affordable 4K TV from LG at this point is the 40-inch UF670T, which costs just S$1,199. The 40-inch UF770T that's a step up costs S$300 more, and the premium you're paying here are for the smart TV functions.
