Amazon just announced plans to bring a second round of Amazon Prime Day deals to 19 countries including Singapore.

Hot on the heels of bringing us great deals just a month ago, Amazon has announced plans to bring back its Amazon Prime Day in October to 19 countries, including Singapore, but has yet to give an office date for the event.
Officially announced by Doug Herrington, CEO of Worldwide Amazon Stores in a LinkedIn post, no reason has been given by Amazon for the second Prime Day. But speculation from CNBC says that this is partially designed to secure new Prime subscribers, promote Amazon’s products and services, and provide a sales boost in the middle of the year.
Amazon only says that they will share more details closer to the event and that they can’t wait to give Prime members access to exclusive early savings this season.
