If you own a Spotify account, you might want to consider changing your password. According to TechCrunch’s report, details of hundreds of Spotify users have been leaked on the website Pastebin, and this appears to be a result of a security breach. TechCrunch reached out to some affected users and the news site confirmed that their Spotify accounts “...were compromised only days ago.”

TechCrunch also reached out to Spotify and the company denied of any security breaches, and said the records of their users are secure. However, since the leaked login credentials are specific to Spotify services, TechCrunch’s suspicion about the possibility of the company being hacked isn’t unwarranted. In February this year, Spotify was a victim of a hacking incident, and the perpetrator(s) targeted its Premium service subscribers. Their user details were leaked on the same website Pastebin. So, for Spotify users, even if you have changed your Spotify account's password, you might want to head over to this site, haveibeenpwned.com, to see if any of your online accounts have been compromised or hacked.
