Here are the top 25 worst passwords for 2015. Is yours on the list?

SplashData just unveiled its list of the Internet's worst passwords for 2015 and it shows that people still use terrible passwords. Hit the link to find out more which passwords make to the list!

Time and time again, we are reminded to use strong passwords that are harder to hack. However, SplashData's annual list of the worst passwords paints a sad reality - people just don't learn from others and continue to use easy-to-guess passwords. 

Not surprisingly, the most popular password is "123456" followed by "password". These two codes took the same positions for 2014 and 2013. Rounding up the top five are "12345678", "qwerty" and "12345". 

There are several new entries in the list which include "welcome" at 11th position, "1234567890" at 12th position and "1qaz2wsx" at 15th. Believe it or not, Star Wars-related terms also made it to the list such as "solo" and "starwars". 

If the recent spate of hacking attacks hasn't sounded an alarm, this list should serve as a wake-up call for you. Below is the entire list from SplashData:
