Feedly Cloud Now Available for Google Reader Import

With less than two weeks until Google Reader shuts down, Feedly has announced that their cloud service is now live, providing users a way to import their Reader feeds and replace Reader's backend completely. Nine first apps running on Feedly cloud have been announced, as well as a new Web version.

With less than two weeks until Google Reader shuts down, Feedly has announced that their cloud service is now live, providing users a way to import their Reader feeds and replace Reader's backend completely.

Feedly is also announcing the first nine apps built on Feedly cloud, which include IFTTT, Nextgen Reader, gReader and Newsify. Integration with popular iOS app Reeder has been previously announced.

There is also a brand new Web version of Feedly, which can run in any browser without the need for plugins or extensions.
