Dyson opens up Southeast Asia's largest Dyson Demo retail store in VivoCity

As Dyson increases its push into Singapore, with a Technology Centre and local STEM education investment among those efforts, the British company is opening a new Dyson Demo retail store in VivoCity.

The new store accompanies three existing Dyson Demo Zones in Westgate, NEX and Tampines Mall , as well as a Demo Store in Capitol Singapore, but the new VivoCity store's 178sqm size will make it the largest in Southeast Asia.

Products being demonstrated will span the company's key ranges, such as the V12 Detect cordless vacuums, Purifier Cool Formaldehyde air purifier, Lightcycle Morph desk light and Corrale hair straightener.

Speaking of hair care, the new Dyson Demo also includes a Beauty Lab located entirely within the store, equipped with three styling stations using Dyson technology. Customers can meet and converse with a Dyson Expert about personalising their hair care with Dyson products, and if you can't do a walk-in meet, you can also book a complimentary appointment to do the same.

If VivoCity's too far away, though, there's another Dyson Beauty Lab located in Funan.

The company is also focusing on the personalization aspect of the store. Customers visiting the retail shop can interact with what Dyson calls exclusive technologies, as well as products with limited edition colourways. To complete the high-end experience, those who visit the Personalisation Bar can also expect complimentary case debossing for the Dyson Supersonic hair dryer, Airwrap styler and Corrale straightener presentation cases.

The new store will open on Feb 9 and is located at VivoCity's first floor. Opening hours of the store are from 10am to 10pm.
