Stranger Things gets the Casio treatment once again

Timed with the show’s final stretch, the new collaboration combines classic Casio designs with Stranger Things iconography.

Stranger Things may be nearing its end, but Netflix and Casio aren’t done with it just yet. The two have teamed up again on a watch collaboration that brings a slice of Hawkins’ ’80s nostalgia onto your wrist.

The latest collaboration spans two familiar silhouettes. First up is the G-Shock DW-5600STT-1, which keeps its rugged square design but adds creeping vine graphics inspired by Vecna’s influence in the Upside Down. The show’s logo sits just above 12 o’clock, while the LED backlight glows red – quite befitting of the show’s colour palette. There’s also a subtle “011” printed on the band loop that obviously references our heroine, Eleven.

Alongside it is the more understated Casio Vintage AQ-800EST-1A, an analogue-digital hybrid with a square dial and digital window that are framed by the same vine motif – with metallic indices styled in the Stranger Things typeface. Flip it over and you’ll find the series logo engraved on the case back, while the bracelet clasp features “001” aka the series’ antagonist himself, Vecna.

Both watches are now available at Casio’s e-store, with the G-Shock DW-5600STT-1 and Casio Vintage AQ-800EST-1A priced at S$199 each.
