You Won't Believe What Hello Kitty and Playboy are Doing with a Leica

In a case of un-Hello-ly matrimony, a limited edition Leica is going on sale with a logo of Hello Kitty wearing Playboy bunny ears.

The Leica C (a rebranded Panasonic, as all Leica digital compact cameras are) was on sale at French retailer Colette, along with other Hello Kitty x Playboy products. If you're lusting over this kitty-bunny, it used to sell at US$1,264, but seems to be all sold out, no doubt thanks to the fact that it was limited to ten units only.

As for why this unusual combo, kitty-bunny hybrid was created to celebrate Hello Kitty's 40th and Playboy's 60th birthdays. Color us confused with this weird creation, but who knows - with Singaporeans' love for all things Hello Kitty, this might have been a hot-seller here just as much as in France, even at S$1,600 per camera!
