X'mas Gift Idea 10: An easy-to-use camera you can bring everywhere with you

On the 10th day of X'mas, how about a compact mirrorless camera that's extremely easy to use? The Canon EOS M5 is one of their latest, and is definitely worth taking a look at.

If you’re looking for a camera that’s light, portable and gives great images, take a look at Canon’s latest camera – the EOS M5.

With the EOS M5, Canon has upgraded the capabilities of the 1.62M-dot tilting rear LCD so that it has full touch capabilities, allowing you to navigate menus just like you would your smart phone. Pinch to zoom and swipe to switch between images.

Changing settings can literally be done with a tap, and the camera measures just 115.6 x 89.2 x 60.6 mm while weighing only 380 grams so you can easily bring it everywhere with you.

This S$1,499 mirrorless camera (body only) has a 24MP APS-C sized sensor with 49 autofocus points and on-sensor Dual-Pixel AF points for faster focusing. It runs on Canon’s DIGIC 7 Image Processor, and is capable of capturing images with an ISO range of 100-25,600. It also does continuous shooting at a respectable rate of 9.0 fps, and offers Full HD 60p movie recording capabilities, making it quite the all-rounder.
