Rumor: Is this Fuijfilm’s upcoming X-T3?
An early recap of the rumored specifications for Fujifilm’s new flagship SLR-style camera.
With just about a month to go to Photokina in Cologne, rumors for the various camera makers have started up in earnest. Nikon’s already unveiled their mirrorless contender, and you can be sure that Canon will be sure to follow. Meanwhile, FujiRumors has been collecting leaks from various sources about Fuji’s next camera – the X-T3.
This should follow the form factor of their excellent X-T2 but add improved autofocus capabilities, with supposedly 425 AF points and Phase detection coverage on the entire sensor. Here’s a list of the rumored specifications for now:
- Phase detection coverage on entire sensor
- Improved Face/Eye detection
- 425 AF Points, available also in AF-C
- Improved Low Light Autofocus
- 4K/60p video with Zebra and possibly 10 bit internal recording
- No new film simulation (for now)
- Base ISO 160
- Fujifilm X-T3 is supposed to cost Less than Fujifilm X-T2 (less than $1,599)
- 20 fps continuous shooting with Electronic shutter, 11 fps using Mechanical shutter, and 30fps using 1.25x crop with Electronic shutter
- New Vertical Battery grip
- 26MP X-Trans sensor
- Possibly a stacked sensor design
- New processor
- No IBIS
