Olympus announces the release of a limited edition model of the OM-D E-M5 Mark II

Olympus is paying homage to the classic OM-3Ti 35mm film SLR by releasing a limited edition version of the OM-D E-M5 Mark II painted in a special titanium color.

The limited edition OM-D E-M5 Mark II is functionally identical to a regular production OM-D E-M5 Mark II,but will be painted with special titanium-colored paint to match the classic OM-3Ti camera. This will be sold with the M.Zuiko Digital ED 14-150mm f4.0-5.6 II lens and some specially commissioned accessories as a set, and only 7,000 sets will be produced globally.

The complete limited edition set will consist of the painted OM-D E-M5 Mark II, a specially crafted leather strap, and a leather card case with an owners card that bears the set number (from 1 to 7000), as well as an inspirational quote by Mr Yoshihisa Maitani, the designer of the OM system. Both the strap and the card case will feature quality stitching and be made of genuine leather in colors specially selected to match the camera.

Pricing has yet to be announced, but the sets are to be on sale globally from June 2015.
