The new RX100 VII is the latest addition to Sony’s premium compact camera series
The Sony RX100 VII packs a new sensor with the latest-gen BIONZ X image processor. It even boasts AI-based subject and eye tracking AF system with 0.02s acquisition time.

The Sony RX100 VII is the latest addition to the company’s premium compact camera series. The new camera packs a 1.0-type stacked Exmor RS CMOS image sensor and the latest generation BIONZ X image processor.

The camera features retractable zoom lens with range of 24-200mm, just like its predecessor, the RX100 VI. In terms of autofocus, the new RX100 VII boasts 357 phase detection AF points and 425 contrast detection AF points, with blazing fast 0.02 second AF acquisition time!
There are also new features like AI-based object, real-time tracking of objects and eyes of both humans and animals subjects. The Sony RX100 VII will be available in selected Asia Pacific countries from August 2019. Pricing will be announced later.
