GoPro plans to offer more cameras alongside the current Hero and Max models in 2023.

Founder and CEO Nick Woodman shared during the company's earnings presentation that the new cameras will be more specialised and use a lot of the same technology found in existing models.

Woodman added that expanding the lineup of cameras is not a return to the business model of "good/better/best", but to "appeal to entirely different groups of users" than the Hero and Max.

These models could be catered for the professional market or positioned as "premium solutions" for specific use cases. Other plans for 2023 include "new coloud capabilities and an all-new subscription-based desktop application".
