Canon celebrates 10 years of the EOS 5D with a movie
Canon has been celebrating the 10th anniversary of the EOS 5D line, and they've just posted two movies that will be of interest to fans.
Can you believe it's already been 10 years since the launch of the first EOS 5D? At the time of its launch in September 2005, full-frame CMOS sensors were only available in professional-level models, so the EOS 5D can truly be said to be a game-changer, bringing a match of competitive pricing and quality. It was of course followed up by the 5D Mark II and its ground-breaking video capabilities that started filmmakers thinking about incorporating DSLRs as part of their video equipment.
