Fujifilm is releasing the X-Pro 2 and X-T2 in a new graphite colorway. Both cameras were previously only available in black.
The X-T2 Graphite Silver Edition will come with special accessories, a premium leather strap and a matching EF-X8 hot-shoe mount flash.
The X-T2 Graphite Silver Edition is treated with a multi-layer coating, the first is a matte black undercoat, applied to the magnesium top cover. This undercoat delivers deeper blacks in shadow areas. The second layer applies graphite silver for a smooth finish. The third layer is a clear varnish.
The X-Pro2 Graphite Edition also uses a multi-layer coating process for the exterior of the camera body. By increasing the amount of black pigment compared to the X-T1 Graphite Silver Edition, Fujifilm says the X-Pro2 Graphite has a richer metallic texture. It is noticeably darker than the graphite on the X-T1 and X-T2.
The X-Pro2 Graphite Edition will be sold with the Fujinon XF23mm F/2 lens and a lens hood, both in the same graphite color as the body. The X-Pro2 Graphite Edition is expected to be available at the end of January.
