Targus’s eco-friendly Cypress Hero EcoSmart Backpack just got even better with the addition of Apple’s Find My technology.
Made with the equivalent of 26 plastic water bottles in recycled materials in the backpack, it is built to fit laptops up to 16 inches with a dedicated padded laptop compartment and plenty of pockets and storage compartments for carrying and organising multiple devices and personal items.

The backpack adds a built-in tracking device that connects to its owner’s iPhone to find the location of the backpack and their tech and other belongings inside the backpack to keep them safe and secure whether at home, in the office, or on the go.

If the iPhone gets lost, the owner can ping the iPhone using the backpack if it’s been set up with the Targus app. The backpack can also be kept close with geofencing.
The backpack is powered by a replaceable battery that is rechargeable via USB and estimated to last for around a year between charges.

The Cypress Hero Backpack with Find My Technology will be available for sale in the United States in Spring and Summer 2022 for US$149.99. We’ve reached out to Targus for local pricing and availability and will update this when we receive more information
