Have you ever wanted to just send a message to your child in school to wish them luck for an exam but don’t want them to get into trouble with their form teacher? Well, if they have a myFirst’s Fone S4 smartwatch, now you can.
Using an eSIM to provide 4G connectivity, the myFirst Fone S4 allows communication parents and kids who are looking for a handy way to message, video call, voice call, and have group calls with up to 8 people. According to myFirst, they partern with both Singtel and StarHub with the 4G connection swapping between both (whichever is stronger).
Better tracking
Equipped with a geomagnetic sensor, gyroscope, a new dual-band GPS system, and accelerometer, the Fone S4 uses these sensors together to monitor step counts, measure distances, and track movements.
Parents can monitor usage, manage contacts, and set up geofencing zones to designate safe areas, receiving notifications if their child strays beyond boundaries. It narrows the location tracking radius from a usual three-meter radius, down to a more precise two meters.
With an IPX8 waterproof rating, whether your child is walking to school, running at the playground, or simply moving around during the day, no matter the weather, the Fone S4 captures detailed activity data. These features not only support active lifestyles but also contribute to a richer gamification experience by ensuring accurate step tracking and activity milestones.
A mix of old and new features

One of the returning features is the class mode that silences calls and alerts during specified times while keeping the emergency contact functions active, so your kids don’t get distracted during class.
Gamification aims to rewards children letting them earn virtual “Carrots” currency by completing tasks, achieving milestones, and participating in challenges — whether it’s finishing their homework, hitting a daily step goal, or joining community activities. Carrots can be spent in the Carrot Store on fun customisations like unique avatars, colourful wallpapers, and special frames, adding a personal touch to your child’s online profile.
One of the new features of the Fone S4 is magiCode, which allows parents to send personalised messages to their kids’ MyFirst’s Fone S4 using customised vibration patterns. Through the myFirst app, parents can easily adjust the strength, interval, and duration of the vibrations to craft unique “morse code”-like patterns. For example, a quick tap could mean for “hello” or a longer, gentle buzz for “I miss you”. Up to ten patterns can be saved and sent at any time.
