The LG CordZero A9 Kompressor with Steam Power Mop.
LG just announced its new CordZero A9 Kompressor cordless stick vacuum cleaner for CES 2023.
The new CordZero A9 Kompressor is LG's first cordless stick vacuum cleaner to offer steam mopping functionality. The detachable Steam Power Mop nozzle is able to clean surfaces without the use of any detergent.
LG claims the mop pads are kept at a temperature of 60 degrees celsius in steam mopping mode, which is more effective at removing stains from the floor than a conventional wet mopping solution. Global testing and certification organisation Intertek says LG's steam-heated mop pads are more effectivee than the typical wet mop at separating substances such as hardend chocolates from the floor.
The Steam Power Mop nozzle has two sensors which prevent the steam generator from overheating, and an automatic water supply system to keep the mop pads wet during mopping. For user safety, the steam supply will shut off if the nozzle is lifted off the floor or held stationery for about 20 seconds, while mop pad rotation is paused after one minute of inactivity.
Like the existing CordZero A9 Kompressor, the new model comes with Axial Turbo Cyclone technology and the All-in-One Tower. The All-in-One Tower is a space-efficient and fast-charging docking station that has a replaceable dust bag, an automated dustbin-emptying station, and a display for real-time status updates.
LG will be showcasing the new CordZero K9 Kompressor with Steam Power Mop at its booth (#15501) in Las Vegas Convention Center at CES 2023 alongside its new InstaView refrigerator.
