Ever tried juggling a wailing baby while heating up milk or water to mix with formula and trying to not lose it? Not an easy task, and one of the reasons why parents should get more credit, especially when doing it in the middle of the night. If that sounds like you, the Ember Baby Bottle System is here to save the day.

If the name Ember sounds familiar to you, it might be because you're a coffee or tea junkie (like me) and heard of their Ember Mug 2 or Ember Cup, which can keep drinks inside at your ideal temperature for a couple of hours, or all day if the vessel is kept on the charging coaster.

That same technology is in play here, kind of. The system comes with two 6oz (178ml) bottles with level 1 nipples, an insulating Thermal Dome that can keep milk cool for up to four hours if needed and a Smart Warming Puck that can be unplugged once fully charged to heat milk up on the go.

All that's needed is to fill the bottle, place it on the puck and press a button and the system will heat the milk or water for formula to body temperature in about five minutes. Using the principle of convection, it circulates and warms liquids evenly while sensors inside check the temperature every two seconds to prevent overheating.

The puck can be paired with Ember's phone app to warm the bottle and its contents remotely, so night time feeding sessions can go much smoother. The app can also track and monitor feeds, as well as your baby's growth.

Ember says that a full charge of the puck will offer two heating cycles, which means that it should be possible to get through one whole night of feeds with just a charge of the puck, although this will depend on how often your baby needs to be fed.

The System also comes with four extra nipples (two level 2 nipples and two level 3 nipples) and two nipple adapter collars, that will work with Dr. Brown's Wide-Neck nipples or Philips Avent Natural nipples.

The Ember Baby Bottle System retails for US$399.99 (~S$533), which is a little pricey, but perhaps worth it to get through night time feeds a little easier. Unfortunately, it's not available in Singapore just yet, but we're sure plenty of parents are hoping for it to arrive on our shores soon.
